Ricki Briana, LCSW

Founder & CEO | Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Full-Spectrum Doula

Ricki Briana is the Founder and CEO of BABE Family Wellness, where she brings together her work as a licensed clinical social worker, therapist, full-spectrum doula, educator, mentor, and advocate to support individuals and families through some of life’s most vulnerable and transformative seasons.

With a background in psychology and social work, Ricki believes wellness requires looking at the whole person, not simply a diagnosis, pregnancy, relationship, or difficult season. She is especially passionate about creating culturally responsive spaces where Black families can feel seen, supported, and empowered while receiving high-quality care.

Through Beyond Therapy, Ricki provides virtual therapy for individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, relationships, and perinatal mental health. Through Beyond Birth, she provides full-spectrum doula care rooted in education, advocacy, informed decision-making, and compassionate support throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and reproductive experiences.

Ricki’s passion for helping people grow extends beyond her clients. She welcomes social work interns into BABE Family Wellness, providing hands-on learning, mentorship, and professional development to help emerging social workers build confidence, strengthen their skills, and prepare for the next level of their careers. Ricki’s work is connected by one purpose: helping people feel supported enough to heal, equipped enough to grow, and empowered enough to advocate for the life and care they deserve.

Beyond her professional roles, Ricki is a proud mother of one and a Christian. Her experiences with motherhood and her faith have deeply shaped how she understands care, family, identity, advocacy, and the importance of having the right support through life’s transitions. When she’s not wearing one of her many professional hats, Ricki values spending time with her daughter, pouring into her community, and continuing to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.
